The Teamsters union constitution is over 200 pages, complete with sections on “charges,” internal “trials,” and multi-level “appeals.” It governs…a workplace.

At the Center for Independent Employees, we see how layers of rules, processes, gatekeepers, and bureaucracy make it harder for employees to actually have a voice.
